In a statement the Premier League club confirmed that the transfer had been finalised and detailed the terms of the five-year agreement that ties the Frenchman to the club until 2031. The announcement further noted that Bamba would be assigned the No. 8 shirt upon his arrival at St James’ Park.
Bamba enjoyed an impressive 2025-26 season with Monaco according to the news agency.
