FC Bayern Munich said in its announcement that the signing of Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven adds a major piece to the squad. The 25-year-old agreed to a deal that runs until June 2031. Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl said “We’re delighted to have secured the services of Ismael Saibari one of the most exciting forwards at the World Cup.” The forward remains on international duty with Morocco and will complete the move following the tournament. Publicly available career records indicate he has earned 34 caps and scored 12 goals for the national team.
A report from Bavarian Football Works noted that the signing represents Bayern’s first major incoming transfer of the summer window.
