Since arriving from Empoli in 2019 for approximately 8 million euros, Di Lorenzo has become one of the most consistent performers in Serie A. He has accumulated 307 appearances and 20 goals for Napoli across all competitions, figures that underline his reliability and attacking contributions from the right-back position. The defender scored his first goal for the club in a match against Juventus just weeks after making his debut in a win over Fiorentina.
Di Lorenzo assumed the captaincy in 2022 following the departures of Lorenzo Insigne and Kalidou Koulibaly, quickly establishing himself as the team’s on-field leader.
